Duty Wars is a turn-by-turn strategy game inspired by World War II and the Advance Wars series. Players build and command units on a tiled map, with each army aiming to capture the opponent's capital or defeat all of their units.

The game features two modes: a campaign mode and a versus mode.

• The campaign mode includes three different campaigns. The first one puts you in control of the USA Army facing the German threat in Europe, with missions inspired by real events such as the Normandy landing and the liberation of Paris. The second campaign takes you to the eastern front with the USSR army, experiencing famous battles like Stalingrad and Kursk. The third campaign returns you to lead the USA Army in the Pacific War against the Japanese Empire through battles like Pearl Harbor and Iwo Jima.
• Completing these missions unlocks them for play in versus mode.

• The versus mode allows players to challenge friends or an AI on one of the 30 available maps by choosing an army and engaging in battle.

Duty Wars includes 13 different units common to all armies:

• Ground units: Infantry, Bazooka, Jeep, Truck, Tank, Artillery, and Half-Track.
• Naval units: Lander, Destroyer, and Battleship.
• Flying units: Transporter, Fighter, and Bomber.

Each army also features a unique special unit:

• USA: Mustang fighter.
• Germany: Side-car.
• USSR: Katyusha missile launcher.
• Japan: Chi-Ha tank.

Features:

• A versus mode with customizable battles on various maps.
• Playable armies include USA, Germany, USSR, and Japan.
• A total of 17 different units to strategize with.
• Games are automatically saved for convenience.
